It gives us great pleasure to announce Matthew Proctor as our Head Coach for the upcoming season. Proctor is currently finalising his FFA B-Licence coaching accreditation, and will also embark on his FFA Level 1 Goalkeeping Accreditation in November 2017. He has held various coaching roles at SWQ Thunder Football Club over recent seasons, and is the Schools Development Officer for Football Queensland – South West. He is well known and respected in the Toowoomba football community.

“I am extremely excited by the opportunity to work with local players and improve the standard of football in Toowoomba”, Proctor said.

Matthew will be assisted by Jason Richardson, who will primarily be responsible for the club’s Reserve Grade team. Richardson is currently finalising his FFA C-Licence accreditation.

Both Premier men and Reserve Men finished the 2017 season with the Runners Up trophy, and securing the services of Proctor and Richardson gives the Club a head-start into the 2018 season, where our aim is to go one better in both grades. USQFC last won Premier Men in 2013, and Reserve Men in 2014.

Pre-season training will commence early November 2017, with exact date and time to be confirmed. Details will be on our club website and Facebook page in due course.
